When and where is the concert series and cruise-in?

The concert series and cruise-in will be held May 1st, June 5th, July 17th, September 11th and October 2nd, 2021 at Patriots Park, 220 South Railroad Avenue, Kings Mountain, NC. Click here for driving directions to the venue.

Is there a charge for the event?

The City of Kings Mountain is proud to offer this series as a free event to the public. To keep this event free, we do ask you to patronize our food and beverage vendors, and support our incredible event sponsors.

Where can I park?

Parking is available throughout Kings Mountain. We do offer a free shuttle service at the following locations between 4:00pm and 11:00pm:

Shuttle A:

  • Patrick Senior Center (909 East King Street)

  • First Baptist Church (605 West King Street)

Where are the restrooms?

Our air conditioned bathrooms are available at the boardwalk near the Patriots Park War Memorial.

Where are the Lost & Found and First Aid areas?

Lost & Found and First Aid areas are located at the Information Booth, located at the corner of Gold and Mountain Streets.

Can I bring my pet?

Only service animals are allowed at the Concert Series and Cruise-In.

Can I bring a tent to the concert series?

No, tents are not allowed at the concert series. Lawn chairs are welcome.

Is smoking allowed at the park?

No. In compliance with city ordinance 96.076, smoking is prohibited at Patriots Park.

Are political candidates allowed to campaign at or during the event?

No. While we do not mind candidates introducing him/herself to our attendees, we ask that they do not distribute literature of any kind (such as flyers, letters, business cards, petitions, raffles tickets, etc.)

Are will allowed to bring coolers or food to the event?

No. We ask that attendees support our food and beverage vendors.

Where can I find Patriots Park reopening guidelines?

Patriots Park has been cleared to open with a reduced capacity – currently set at 50% occupancy.

What are your COVID-19 protocols?

For your safety and the safety of our staff and volunteers, we ask that concert and cruise-in goers follow the NC COVID-19 safety protocols. We are recommending the following: -Face Coverings -Social Distancing -Stay With Your Party (We ask that everyone stays with his/her party and recommend not mingling with unassociated parties during the event) -Patrons visiting with food and beverage vendors must stay 6ft apart in line -Using good hand, cough and sneeze hygiene -Staying home in you feel unwell We are offering the following: -Hand sanitation stations will be provided at the food court area. -Bathrooms on site will be sanitized on a regular basis throughout the event. -Hand sanitizer and masks will be available at two information booths located in the park. -Staff, Volunteers and Vendors will be screened upon arrival.
